Technical supervision
We guide you through the entire process — from project preparation, proposal comparison and supplier selection to implementation oversight and system acceptance. We assess the quality of the delivered software, security and pricing.
We help optimise costs by adjusting the project, choosing a more suitable system or analysing unit prices. We draw on pricing knowledge from running smart-building.store and personal contacts with a range of European manufacturers and their representatives.
At handover, we verify that the delivered system is functional and complete: source projects, backups, access credentials and documentation, including their consistency with the actual installation. We help ensure that the system you receive can be maintained and developed further.

Audit and system assessment
We assess your system’s software quality, functionality, security and long-term maintainability. We check system communication, access permissions, backup availability and documentation completeness.
We identify shortcomings, their operational impact and priorities for remediation. You gain a basis for deciding what to repair, what to develop and whether proposed modifications address the building's actual needs.

Practical work on automation systems: connecting technologies, adding functions, refurbishment and completion of non-functional or unfinished solutions.

Complex integrations
Our software development expertise allows us to connect technologies, protocols and technical systems that do not normally communicate with each other. We integrate KNX, Modbus, IP devices, serial interfaces and external systems.
We design the communication layer, control logic and visualisation you need. We bring data and controls together in a clear interface tailored to your operations.

Custom scripts and drivers
We provide KNX programming and develop custom scripts, communication drivers and gateways. We add specialised operating logic, data conversion between protocols and interfaces for devices without readily available integrations.
Where needed, we analyse communication and work with undocumented protocols (reverse engineering). We tailor the solution to the technology and integrate it into the existing system.

Refurbishing existing systems
We help repair and modernise existing KNX installations and other systems, even without software backups, documentation or access to the original supplier. We assess the actual state, analyse communication and reconstruct the required functions and connections.
With the owner's authorisation, we also help recover access to password-protected KNX/ETS projects and devices protected by a BCU password. We assess recovery options based on the installation and the information available.

Completing non-functional projects
We take over and complete KNX projects left by the original supplier, as well as other non-functional automation projects, including large administrative and industrial buildings. We quickly assess the technical solution, identify critical issues and focus on restoring key functions.
We determine the completion plan and timeline based on the actual state of the project. We use our experience with complex integrations and ready-to-use software components to shorten the path to functional operation.
